The Sierra de Bejar and Candelario is a protected natural space of high ornithological interest. Due to its altitudinal gradient, thanks to which we will cross different habitats, the visit to these places offers a wide range of species. During the route, we will visit areas where dense scrub areas are dotted with rocky outcrops, where we can highlight the presence of summer species such as the red rock thrush, the black-tailed warbler, the warbler, the garden scythe or the red-backed shrike, as well as the nightingale bluethroat, without doubt one of the most emblematic species of the Sierra de Gredos. Later we will visit areas of oak and riverbank, with the aim of observing other scarce reproducers such as the flycatcher cerrojillo, the redstart or blackbird, not forgetting other more frequent species such as the jay, the papialbo mosquito net or the montesino scribe , among other. During the route it is probable the observation of other faunistic groups, among which stand out the roe deer, the green-lipped lizard or the pintana lizard, endemic to the central system.
