The celestial landscape of Extremadura has several characteristics that make this region one of the favorite destinations for astronomical tourism.Its beautiful landscapes dotted with small towns offer us a sky with very good visibility given the low light pollution, good weather, with pleasant temperatures and much of the clear, cloudless days, facilitating the contemplation of the night sky.

During this activity focused on people with the aim of starting in the world of Astronomy or enjoying a new experience we will handle several tools for celestial observation, we will deal with subjects as exciting as the history of Astronomy, the constellations and their legends, the moon, the solar system, night photography ... depending on the lunar calendar, the time of year and the time of the activity we will enjoy different observations. The moonless nights are more suitable for the observation of planets and objects of the deep sky, in the nights with moon our satellite will take more prominence in the activity.
